We are located in The Town of South Amboy, NJ, which is a vibrant diverse community, bustling with the energy of an upcoming suburb of New York. The building itself formerly housed a Harmonica Sales, service and a Music learning establishment.The building is conducive to the culinary arts generated in the space. In addition to its aesthetic appeal, the building was also perfectly suited for being converted to a kitchen, due to its vicinity, open floor plan and existing robust electric, gas, and plumbing infrastructure by the South Amboy Kitchen team

Sarabjit Sawhney, Operations Manager, Recipient of the Specialty Food Association ” Volunteer of the Year 2025 Leadership Award”, Shared Kitchen Mentor of the Year 2025, Nominated for: Shared Use Kitchen of the year 2024, Shared Kitchen Industry Champion of the Year 2025, brings a wealth of experience in operations management across various industries, including food service and food manufacturing, automotive repair and sales, outdoor recreational equipment manufacturing and sales. Renowned for his visionary leadership, Sarabjit has a proven track record of transforming underperforming units into profitable ventures, achieving double-digit increases in revenue. With a commitment to fostering exceptional employee morale and delivering impeccable customer service, he leverages his diverse expertise to drive operational excellence and sustainable growth.”
A graduate of Rutgers University, Jay has worked in the public health field for greater than 40 years serving the communities of Franklin and Edison Townships; most recently as Edison Director of Health & Human Services. He is a Registered Environmental Health Specialist and a ServSafe Certified Instructor/Proctor and has conducted 1000’s of inspections and plan reviews during the course of his career. Jay currently works as a consultant providing food safety training, permit expediting, project & special event management.
